Scott Harrington

Scott Harrington is the founder of Homes Plus, Inc. To date, he has inspected over 4,500 residential homes. Each year, Scott Harrington attends seminars and conference related to the inspection industry. On the average, he earns 40 continuing education credits per year. Mr. Harrington has resided in southeastern Connecticut all of his life, and is extremely familiar with construction practices common to this area. When you schedule your home inspection with us, Scott Harrington will personally perform your inspection. Mr. Harrington brings to your inspection the experience that only time affords.

Scott Harrington was the first home inspector in southeastern Connecticut currently engaged in home inspections to achieve membership in the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). Unlike many home inspection associations that only require you to send in a membership fee each year to become a member, ASHI requires that each home inspector pass a series of written examinations, complete a minimum of 250 inspections, and maintain a minimum of 20 hours of continuing education each year.

In addition to his extensive knowledge of construction, Scott Harrington has over 10 years of laboratory experience. He has been the operations manager for the Homes Plus radon testing laboratory for over ten years. Until recently, he was a partner in a public health laboratory that specialized in water quality testing. Scott Harrington has extensive knowledge of water quality testing and problems associated with well construction and well water. Homes Plus Inc is insured for your protection.
